PROPHET Walter Magaya's Yadah FC on Sunday invade Barbourfields Stadium for battle against Bulawayo City in a Chibuku Super Cup quarter-final tie.

The Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals have been slated for this weekend with the league programme suspended.

"Yadah FC are unpredictable and we can only underestimate them at our own peril," Bulawayo City coach Mandla "Lulu" Mpofu said.

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions CAPS United take on Shabanie Mine at Maglas Stadium.

Caps United, in sixth place on the log and 14 points off the pace with only seven matches before the end of the campaign, are technically out of the Premiership title race and are hard-pressed to end the season with silverware.

The Harare giants will need to up their game in the Chibuku Super Cup whose winners will represent Zimbabwe in the Caf Confederation Cup.

However, Shabanie proved to be Caps United's bogey side when the two teams drew in both league encounters this term.

Chapungu square off against Kelvin Kaindu's How Mine while PSL returnees Black Rhinos, who are under the tutelage of legendary Stix Mutizwa will face Harare City.

The PSL's big teams that include Highlanders, Dynamos, Chicken Inn and FC Platinum were booted out of the cup contest in the first round. The cup's defending champions Ngezi Platinum were eliminated by Caps United in what was the pick of the first round.

Gamecocks were eliminated after their players walked off the pitch in protest over a late penalty they conceded when defender Moses Jackson impeded Yadah midfielder Milton Makopa.

Chicken Inn will learn the severity of their punishment which is likely to be a fine of $2 000 and a ban in the next edition of the tournament, that's  according to the rules of the annual cup competition.

The winner of the Chibuku Super Cup will represent the country in the Caf Confederations Cup.
