Zim roads in bad shape

Zimbabwe Passengers Association secretary Paul Makiwa has lamented over the bad state of the country's roads blaming that for the carnage happening along the highways.
"Most of our roads country wide are in a bad state; only the trunk roads and few feeder roads are the only ones in a better state. We know that good roads are a good means of transportation, are also good means of communication. In terms of transporting goods, good roads are also good for our daily business," he said.
"They can also bring more daily revenues and good roads are good for our national networking events. Most of our roads are under intensive care."
Makiwa called on the government to prioritise road rehabilitation to enable business to flourish.
