Minor dies in scotchcart accident

A six year old from Mbire district died in a donkey drawn scotch cart accident on Thursday.


According to police the now deceased Lucia Zvarevashe was following behind the cart  whilst her father Unganai Zvarevashe  was riding the cart and her mother  Rutendo Mandika was leading the cart.

Upon crossing the stream and ascending the slope the donkeys got off the scorch cart started to reverse and ran over the minor killing on the spot.

The matter was reported at Mahuwe police and investigations are in progress.
