Kariba power station doubles electricity output

With the current load-shedding crisis in Zimbabwe, the country's electricity supplier has since doubled its megawatt supply with immediate effect.
Kariba is a 1050MW hydroelectric power plant of which currently it has been giving out only 200MW. As of today the latest report from the Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) states that Kariba has now doubled its supply giving a total of 401MW power output.
The statistics also show that Munyati is producing 17MW, Hwange 429MW totalling a power supply of 847MW added to that supplied from the Kariba.
However, the two small coal-fired power stations in Harare and Bulawayo haven't been generating anything.
With increased water levels, Kariba has then increased its supply hoping it solves the most hated load-shedding as it supplies over 70% of the country's electricity.
