Chinese ambassador to Zim Ding hails Zanu PF conference as strategic

The Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Zhou Ding, has hailed the ruling Zanu PF's 22nd Annual National People's Conference as strategic and successful, praising its role in shaping Zimbabwe's development trajectory.
Ambassador Ding made the remarks during the Global Solidarity segment of the conference, where representatives from political parties around the world delivered messages of support for Zimbabwe's development agenda and its resistance to external pressures, including illegal sanctions.
Ding described the conference as a strategic platform for policy formulation aligned with Vision 2030.
"China stands ready to work hand-in-hand with Zimbabwe in all areas of the economy, guided by mutual respect, win-win cooperation, and shared prosperity," he said.
He added that the outcomes of the conference would further strengthen Zimbabwe's development efforts and deepen bilateral ties between the two nations.
Also speaking at the event, a representative of the Communist Party of Cuba highlighted the shared struggles of Zimbabwe and Cuba, particularly in confronting illegal sanctions imposed by some Western countries.
The Cuban delegate commended Zimbabwe's resilience and reaffirmed Cuba's unwavering support in the fight for sovereignty and economic justice.
