Out spoken Zanu PF youth member Fidelis Fengu has insisted that he feels that President Robert Mugabe could have made a public statement on the shortage of cash in Zimbabwe.
Fengu seems to be fighting some of the moves by the government of his party after his claims that he is now a repentant christian.
"I will stick my neck out and say Gushungo should have made a public statement on the cash shortages and the way forward. This is bigger than war vets who got tear gassed," he said.
"People need a leader right now who will stand with the people, show compassion and take action. In as much as Gushungo is an experienced leader those doing his public relations are doing a bad job at it."
Fengu said Gushungo made a statement on $15 billion got people excited and nothing happened.
"Now the silence on cash shortages is deafening ..... people didn't elect John Mangudya they elected Gushungo and he should at least say something to the people," he said. "Gushungo your people need you right now things are getting worse."
