The nation will have to wait a little longer for the announcement of the 30 players who will regain their 'eligibility status' for national team selection after the football association said they have not as yet received the names.
Anxiety is the word that can best describe the feeling among the implicated players and football followers ahead of the much-awaited announcement of the 30 players believed to have been wrongly sucked into the Asiagate Scandal.
ZIFA Communications Officer Nicky Dhlamini Moyo said her association is yet to receive the names of the said players from the Independent Adhoc Disciplinary Committee led by Retired Supreme Judge, Justice Ahmed Ebrahim.
The much-awaited announcement would certainly bring a wave of relief to the affected players and hope of a renewed national team for many Zimbabweans.
However, the big story will be that the inquiry would have sent a strong message that their intention is not to punish innocent souls but to get the real Judas Iscariots who sold the motherland for the Biblical 30 pieces of silver.
