The Egyptian national soccer team arrived in the country this Thursday afternoon with head coach Bob Bradley saying his team will not take Zimbabwe lightly in Sunday's World Cup qualifier.
The 25-member squad comprises among others the Pharaohs trump card Mohamed Aboutrika, Wael Gomaa, Ahmed Fahty, Mahmoud Fatalla and Hosni Abdrabou.
Responding to a question on his thoughts on Sunday's showdown with the Warriors shortly before checking into a local hotel, Bradley said they have a lot of respect for the Warriors and are not taking them lightly.
"We are confident of our ability to win the match, but we respect Zimbabwe a great deal because they're a good side that made things difficult for us in Alexandria," said Bradley.
The Pharaohs have no injury concerns with all the players having passed a clean bill of health as match day beckons.
Egypt warmed up for Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe with a one-all draw against Botswana in Cairo on Tuesday.
Round 4 of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers pitting the Warriors and the Pharaohs will be held at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday.
