Local football's attention turns to the Chibuku Super Cup final this weekend where Harare City and FC Platinum clash in what promises to be a tight contest at Mandava stadium on Sunday.
For the past few weeks, the premiership title race involving Dynamos and ZPC Kariba has hogged the limelight.
However, this Sunday sees focus shifting from the premiership marathon to the Chibuku Super Cup final.
The Sunshine Boys were hard at work when the ZBC News crew visited a training session at Gwanzura stadium on Tuesday morning.
With the Chibuku Super Cup being the only opportunity the Sunshine Boys have to win any silverware this season; head coach Masimba Dinyero underlined the importance of Sunday's contest with Kugona Kunenge Kudada.
FC Platinum have been in devastating form in their last 5 league encounters, winning 4 and drawing one but Dinyero is positive his charges will rise to the occasion in a contest he believes can go either way.
The last the two sides met, FC Platinum emerged 2-nil victors at Rufaro stadium and the Zvishavane side will be hoping to maintain the same dominance in Sunday's crucial contest.
FC Platinum have also won two trophies, the Uhuru Cup and the ZNA Charity Shield.
It will also be a home coming ceremony for Dinyero who used to sit on the FC Platinum bench before he left Zvishavane unceremoniously after being dismissed by the then head coach Lloyd Mutasa.
