Two second half goals was all Dynamos needed to change log positions with ZPC Kariba.

Mukuruva who had a quite afternoon was in goals. Mwerahari and Linyama partnered while Murwira as right back and Mushure as left back completed a 4men defense.

Chipunza played the attacking midfield role while Captain Alimenda anchored. A debut afternoon in a blue and white kit was handed to Gorogodyo who played as a left winger, Mambare played right wing.

Mutuma partnered Nasama upfront.

Border Strikers were comfortable conceding freekicks outside their penalty box. However thrice Mushure had his attempts saved by the goalkeeper.

The first opening however come in the 23rd minute courtesy of a Mushure freekick. An inviting cross was punched by Keeper and that touch proved vital as it eluded Mwerahari and Nasama sliding in from the far post.

Ten minutes later Mutuma headed weakly a Gorogodyo cross that was dealt easily by the keeper.

A boring half saw Border Strikers failing to have a shot on target. Their two attempts were way off target after defensive lapses by Dynamos.

Dembare returned from the breather a transformed unit. It took a minute for Dynamos to show their intention after the breather.

Mutuma reacted fast to create room for himself to advance toward goal and shoot, the keeper managed to block Mutuma's close range shot with his legs. The rebound fell for onrushing Gorogodyo whose first attempt crushed against the crossbar And rebounded back into play before the visiting side managed to clear.

Murwira followed up three minutes later with a freekick that missed the upright by inches.

Mutasa then pulled out Nasama for Nyakasaka after ten second Half minutes.

Linyama then had the ball stuck on his feet from a Mushure corner, when he finally got his feet right Border Strikers players had recovered and thwarted him

Masimba then created room inside the box but his shot was saved.

Then two ball boys decided to remove juju from the goal post Border Strikers were defending. With match stopped to allow substitution the ball boy snicked unnoticed and picked three things inside BorderStrikers goal area.

Theball boy went to Vip stand were he was given the 'juju neutralizer'. By then Dynamos' Ocean Mushure had won a freekick way outside Border Strikers penalty box.

While Murwira was backing of a few meters and the visitors arranging their wall the ball boy was throwing the 'juju neutralizer' in the nets.

Murwira then produced a beautiful freekick to send Dynamos into the lead. The keeper who was anticipating a cross was beaten heads down by the quality of the attempt

Nyakasaka then did well when he cut back a cross inside thebox but Mambare who was off balance could not direct it in.

Dynamos continued to pour forward with Chipunza shooting over after a solo effort and Nyakasaka was selfish after hustling and beating his marker and the wrongly chose to go for glory instead of passing to Mutuma who could have easily tapped it in.

With ten minutes to go injured Gorogodyo was pulled out for Madhiri.

However Dynamos were almost punished when as corner caused chaos inside the Dembare box.

Nyakasaka then had a good opening after an intelligent ball from Masimba. The young player went for power but no precision.

Anxious last five minutes followed as the visitors pressed forward, but they were caught on the counter by Dembare right at the death.

Musa got to the end of a through ball on the right. He intelligently sliced through a pass to Nyakasaka who was at the edge of the box. This time the young player did not go for power,he opted for precision. Turning and beating a marker Nyakasaka curled it in from the edge of the box to double the lead.

After that there was a few moments for Mambare to attempt to score but found the keeper alert before Masimba made way for Rusere just as the referee was inhaling his last gasp of air before blowing to end the contest.
